Management fee:

40% ($700-$1200)

What’s excluded?


Service fee: $35 per service        

A service fee is applied in the event of providing vehicle maintenance services, including oil and filter changes, tire replacement, battery replacement, and glass replacement. The cost of these services is not included in the service fee itself.         


Repair fee: $95 per service        

Repair fee is applied in the event of providing vehicle repair services, including  repair of engine, transmission, suspension, electric, body, rims, etc.         

         

 Claim Processing Fee:

- $99 per claim for claims resolved with the guest directly

- $149 per claim for claims resolved through Turo"        

This fee is charged in the event that the Carsan processes a claim on behalf of the Owner. It covers the administrative costs associated with managing and processing the claim, including paperwork, communication with  car-sharing platforms, the insurance company, and any other related tasks.         

         

Delivery fee: $75 (one way)        

Delivery fee is applicable when the Owner requests vehicle delivery either from their location to the Carsan parking lot or vice versa, as well as for delivery to a dealership, repair shop, or any other designated location. Delivery distance is up to 15 miles from the Carsan location. Each extra mile is $5.         

         

Parking fee: $25/day        

The parking fee will be applied after the 3rd day of maintenance/repair notification if approval has not been received from the owner, if the owner fails to retrieve the vehicle within 24 hours after the scheduled pickup date, or on the following day if the agreement between Carsan and the owner terminates.         

         

Convenience fee - $45        

The Convenience fee is applied when Carsan provides services to the vehicle Owner that were not previously agreed upon or described in the contract.         

         

Expired registration and tags fee - $100 + full amount of the impacted trip.        

Applied in the event of a violation of state or local regulations, such as failure to register the vehicle within the required timeframe or failure to provide the Carsan with the current registration and stickers on the plates in a timely manner. Earnings for the impacted trip will not be added to the gross rental revenue.         

         

 Trip cancellation fee - $50 per each canceled reservation        

Applied in the event that the Owner retrieves the vehicle while it has upcoming reservations scheduled within the next 30 days.         

         

Penalty for Guest Reservation Interference - $100 + full amount of the impacted trip.        Any deliberate action aimed at obstructing during guests' reservation period, such as remotely disabling the engine, removing payment methods from the Tesla account, or unauthorized retrieval of the vehicle during the reservation period, will result in a penalty. If an Owner retrieves the vehicle without prior notification, but Carsan has an upcoming reservation for the vehicle within the next 24 hours, Carsan reserves the right to penalize the owner. Earnings for the impacted trip will not be added to the gross rental revenue.         

         

Police report fee - $295        

This fee applies if assistance is needed in completing a police report.         

         

Tow yard recovery fee - $195        

This fee applies if the vehicle has been impounded and Carsan retrieves it from the impound yard. Impound and towing charges are not included.


The following fees may be deducted from the Owner's balance.
